Responsibilities Enforce game rules and regulations during basketball matches to ensure fair play and sportsmanship. Make quick, confident decisions on game situations, including fouls, violations, and scoring. Manage on-court conflicts or disputes with professionalism and conflict management skills. Communicate clearly with players, coaches, officials, and spectators to maintain order and safety. Monitor player conduct to promote respectful behavior and adherence to sportsmanship standards. Prepare for each game by reviewing rules, understanding team lineups, and coordinating with event organizers. Maintain a positive attitude that encourages teamwork, respect, and enthusiasm among all participants. Experience Prior experience in basketball or sports coaching is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for youth sports is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with players, coaches, officials, and spectators. Ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally in high-pressure situations. Experience working with children or teenagers demonstrates patience and understanding of youth development. Knowledge of basketball rules and game procedures is advantageous; training will be provided if needed.
