Job Description

Apave America is currently accepting applications for an experienced- Onsite Timekeeper for our Resident Inspectors Position Overview The Onsite Timekeeper is responsible for accurately tracking, recording, verifying, and processing employee work hours and time records particularly during turnaround (shutdown and maintenance) projects. This role involves meticulous data entry and reconciling timesheets for payroll and project accounting purposes, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities Time Entry and Reconciliation:
Accurately enter and reconcile employee work hours, using specialized timekeeping software such as TRACK, and resolve any discrepancies
Timesheet Management:
Collect, review, and process timesheets from various sources, ensuring they are complete and accurate
Cost Reporting:
Develop and submit cost reports related to labor hours, potentially including project-to-date actual costs using specialized software such as CostTracker, etc.
Payroll Support:
Assist with the preparation and submission of payroll data, potentially including job site payroll files
Data Management:
Maintain and update employee records, including charge numbers and other relevant information
Communication and Collaboration:
Interface with employees, field staff, and corporate payroll to address timekeeping and payroll-related issues
General Office Administrative Support:
Perform various administrative tasks to support project managers and field staff
Qualifications, Experience and Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age Minimum of two (2) years of timekeeping, payroll or data entry experience required; preferably within an industrial environment particularly during turnaround projects Strong data entry skills and experience with time-tracking and/or billing software (e.g. TRACK, QuickBooks, Sage 300, etc.) will be carefully considered Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management Strong numerical skills for calculations and reconciliations Basic understanding of cost, job cost, and project budgets Effective communication skills for interaction with various stakeholders Keen organizational and time-management skills Valid Driver's License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required Pre-employment background checks will be required Valid TWIC Card may be required for some sites/locations
Work Conditions:
Position is office-based on site or out of a branch office Interaction with a wide range of stakeholders Required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, push, pull, carry, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working at a computer May be required to wear safety equipment as per the safety department for personal protection (PPE)
Physical and Mental Requirements:
