Job Overview:
Job Summary:
•The Coordinator I Timekeeper at Primoris Energy Services is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee time and attendance data, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. This role supports field operations by maintaining precise time records for payroll and project costing.
Job Responsibilities:
•Collect, review, and verify employee timesheets, timecards, and other timekeeping documentation for accuracy and completeness. Input time and attendance data into the company's timekeeping system (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, or similar ERP system). Reconcile discrepancies in time records by collaborating with employees, supervisors, and project management. Process and track leave requests, including vacation, sick leave, and other approved absences. Generate and distribute various timekeeping reports for management review and project cost analysis. Assist in the preparation of payroll by providing accurate time data to the payroll department. Maintain organized and confidential timekeeping records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Communicate effectively with employees and supervisors regarding timekeeping policies and procedures. Stay informed of changes in labor laws and company policies affecting timekeeping. Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support project operations.
Job Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll, or a related administrative role, preferably within the construction, energy, or industrial services sector. Proficiency in data entry and experience with timekeeping software and/or ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Understanding of basic payroll principles and labor laws is a plus.
