This contract role offers a unique blend of secondary Math instruction and music education, including choir, general music, and some band responsibilities. Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Music Education, or related field Valid teaching certification, or eligibility to obtain certification in Alaska Experience teaching Math at the secondary level (grades 7-12) is highly preferred Background in music education, with the ability to lead choir and band ensembles Strong classroom management and student engagement skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with both a traditional and Montessori approach
Key Responsibilities:
