In person We are hiring an experienced and dependable chef to complete meal-prep services, cooking classes, and private events in clients' homes. You will be working independently in a private-home environment, so punctuality, professionalism, organization, and reliability are essential. Our clients depend on their scheduled services. Applicants must be able to arrive on time and prepared for every assigned shift. Typical Schedule Most assignments are approximately three to four hours long and take place throughout the week. Opportunities for two shifts in one day may also be available.
Assignments may include:
Weekly meal preparation One-on-one cooking classes Private events What a Typical Shift Includes Depending on the assignment, the chef may be responsible for purchasing groceries, traveling to the client's home, preparing the requested menu, portioning meals into containers or plating the food, and cleaning the kitchen items and work areas used during the service. Clients may occasionally provide their own groceries. When shopping is required, the company supplies the grocery list.

Essential Responsibilities Follow company recipes and menu instructions accurately. Prepare meals according to each client's dietary requirements. Handle ingredients carefully to prevent dietary or food-safety concerns. Complete grocery shopping when included in the assignment. Manage preparation, cooking, timing, plating, and meal assembly. Portion completed food into containers or prepare plated meals. Maintain a friendly and professional presence in the client's home. Keep the cooking area clean, organized, and sanitary. Follow proper food-handling and kitchen-safety procedures. Complete each assignment within the expected time while maintaining company standards. Bring all necessary chef tools and equipment to each shift. Arrive reliably and on time for every scheduled service.
Requirements Applicants must:
Have at least one year of chef experience. Have previous professional kitchen experience. Be comfortable working one-on-one inside clients' homes. Be capable of completing assignments independently.
