GCC Continuing Education is seeking an engaging, student-centered Adjunct Instructor to teach noncredit soft skills courses including Customer Service, On-the-Job Communication, and 21st Century Employment Strategies. The ideal candidate brings real-world professional experience, a passion for workforce development, and the ability to connect with adult learners from diverse backgrounds. Courses are offered in-person and/or online and are designed to equip students with the practical skills employer's demand today. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree related to the subject of the course taught OR Master'sdegree in any discipline and two years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught OR Bachelor'sdegree and four years occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught OR For courses in an occupation for which the district offers or has offered apprenticeship instruction, the minimum qualifications for noncredit apprenticeship instructors in that occupation, as specified in title 5 section 53413 OR Master's degree in any discipline and possession of a clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the subject matter The minimum qualifications list for credit and noncredit disciplines can be found at: https://www.glendale.edu/about-gcc/employment/minimum-qualifications Additional Information Adjunct applications are accepted on a continuous basis for immediate and future hiring needs. Adjunct pools remain open throughout the academic year to support ongoing recruitment for departmental assignments and can close at any time.
