Sub Professional Development Coach, MCOE Early Learning Program at Monterey County Office Of Education Application Deadline Until Filled Date Posted 7/1/2026 Contact Number of Openings 1 Salary Single Rate $365.26 Per Hour Length of Work Year varied Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Early Learning Program Senior Director, the Professional Development Coach is responsible for coordinating academic support to all teaching staff. This position will provide professional development that includes making Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) observations, providing observational feedback, supporting goal setting, actively participating in reflective discussions, and brainstorming strategies to enhance teacher-child interactions and support children's School Readiness Goals. This position will also lead Teacher Learning & Collaboration meetings. Requirements /
Qualifications Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Hold a valid California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, Child Development Teacher or higher
  • One (1) year of experience working as a coach in an early learning program
  • Experience in conducting Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS), Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale (ITERS), Desired Results Developmental Profile (DRDP), and other Early Learning Program assessments
  • Bilingual/Biliterate/Bicultural English/Spanish Licenses and Certifications:
  • Knowledge of grant writing/application development process
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience coaching educators
  • Master's degree in relevant field from an accredited college or university Copy of Transcript Credential Copy ( Teacher Credentialing, Child Development Teacher or higher) Letter of Introduction Resume Requirements /
