In this role, you'll leverage your culinary expertise to teach a variety of cooking techniques, food preparation skills, and methods. Your passion for food and education will help foster a vibrant learning environment, empowering students to develop their culinary talents and confidence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge while honing your teaching skills in a lively, supportive setting. Responsibilities Lead engaging cooking classes focused on food preparation and culinary techniques tailored for adult learners. Demonstrate proper knife skills, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring all participants are actively involved and safety protocols are followed. Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their culinary skills and confidence in the kitchen. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment adhering to sanitation and food industry regulations. Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum content that aligns with current hospitality and food service industry trends. Complete all administrative tasks at designated time. Qualifications Must have minimum of 5 years kitchen management experience. Proven culinary experience with a strong background in food service management, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments. Knowledge of sanitation standards and kitchen safety protocols essential for maintaining a healthy learning environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage adult students effectively. Familiarity with the food industry trends and a commitment to continuous learning in culinary arts. Basic computer skills. Knowledgeable with AI is a big plus.
