We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 4 Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a love for learning and helping students develop essential skills. This role involves creating engaging and effective learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our fourth-grade students.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the district's curriculum and best practices in elementary education. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports the physical and emotional well-being of all students. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students in meaningful learning experiences. Foster critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity among students. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student learning and development. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and standards.Qualifications:
Valid Connecticut State Department of Education (CTDOE) certification in Elementary Education, 1-6 (305). Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field. Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with technology integration in the classroom. Familiarity with the elementary education "best practices." Experience working in a diverse and inclusive educational setting.Position Type:
