Education Empowered Learning Studio is seeking a creative, energetic, and engaging educator for our Summer Adventure Learning Pods program from June 1st through July 31st, approximately 9 weeks. This position is a unique blend of summer camp and academic enrichment , designed to help students continue building reading, writing, and math skills throughout the summer in a fun, hands-on, and relaxed environment. Each themed week incorporates literacy, math, STEM, crafts, games, and creative activities while helping students combat summer learning loss in an exciting and meaningful way. This is not a traditional camp counselor position. We are looking for someone who can naturally incorporate educational experiences into themed activities while creating a positive and memorable summer experience for students ages 5-10, limit 10 students. Job Type Part-time | Seasonal Summer Position | Contract Position | No Benefits Pay $25/hour + paid planning time Schedule Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM Summer Position (June-July) Weekly Themes Include Jurassic Journeys Magical Movies Ocean Odyssey LEGO Exploration Messy Makers Wildlife Wonders Kitchen Kids Wizard Worlds Responsibilities Lead and supervise small groups of elementary-aged students Facilitate engaging reading, writing, and math activities through weekly themes Create a fun, supportive, and structured learning environment Assist with hands-on STEM projects, games, crafts, and enrichment activities Support positive behavior and student engagement Plan lesson ideas and weekly activities Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment throughout the program Perform light classroom clean-up duties such as wiping tables, organizing materials, sweeping, vacuuming, and occasional spot mopping after activities as needed Qualifications Preferred candidates may have experience in: Teaching Tutoring Homeschool education Summer camps Academic enrichment programs Elementary education Reading intervention or math support Experience with hands-on or multisensory learning approaches Bonus Qualifications Experience working with neurodiverse learners or students with learning differences We are looking for someone who is: Creative and enthusiastic Reliable and organized Comfortable leading groups of children Warm, patient, and engaging Passionate about making learning fun Someone who doesn't need benefits or paid time off but values a supportive, low-stress teaching environment.
