Job description Job Summary First Baptist Brandon Christian Academy is seeking dedicated and passionate Elementary/Middle School Teachers to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a personal relationship with Jesus, with a strong commitment to fostering a Christian learning environment for children. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's educational journey.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to enhance student engagement and understanding. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community. Assess student performance through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth. Support early intervention strategies for students who may require additional assistance in literacy education or other subjects. Organize and maintain classroom resources, including library services, to create an enriching learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (Education or a related field is preferred) Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and effective communication. Familiarity with learning technology tools that enhance teaching and learning experiences. Knowledge of early intervention techniques and literacy education strategies is a plus. Excellent proofreading skills to ensure clarity and accuracy in instructional materials. A passion for educating young minds and a commitment to fostering their growth spiritually, academically and socially.
