JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs, while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal, state, and local regulations.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, OR approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program • One year of professional or practical clinical nursing experience, completion of a course in teaching adults, OR one year of experience teaching adults, OR one year of experience supervising nursing assistants

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

Valid Florida Educator's Certificate in field or District CTE Certification OR Valid statement of eligibility Valid and current licensure as a Florida Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) Click here for Job Description.

SECONDARY LEVEL ONLY!

•This position may require you to teach an additional period beyond your base contract. Should this occur, you will receive additional compensation at the effective negotiated rate in addition to your base salary for instructing this additional period. This additional amount will be paid as a supplement and will be disbursed in equal payments based on the District's established payroll calendar for this position. This amount is considered part of your salary for Florida Retirement System purposes.•
