Evening Academic Instructor Secondary Education (Multiple Subjects)

We're seeking a Travel Instructor who is comfortable working with middle and high school students across multiple subjects during the evening hours .

Job Overview:

This role is perfect for an educator who enjoys flexible scheduling and one-on-one or small group instruction. You'll travel to student homes or designated learning spaces to provide academic assistance and homework support tailored to each learner's needs. Instruction to meet students where they are—both academically and geographically.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to students' homes or designated local locations for instruction Design and implement engaging, individualized lesson plans based on family/school selected standards and student needs Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress and goals Create a warm, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment Maintain consistent scheduling and professional conduct Submit brief session reports and mileage logs

Qualifications:

Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or similar roles) Bachelor's degree or willingness to take a Florida subject area certification exam (highly preferred) Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Passion for education, flexibility, and a student-centered mindset Ability to work independently
