Open to the Public Special Instructions to Applicants The Department of Counseling and Higher Education in the Patton College of Education at Ohio University invites applications for part-time, non-tenure track, instructional positions for the Applied Human Services undergraduate program. We are accepting applications for potential openings in the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2026-2027 academic year. This rolling application pool will remain open through March 2, 2027. To apply, please submit the following materials: A cover letter specifying your availability to teach online courses during the designated semesters. A current resume or curriculum vitae. Contact information for at least two professional references (including email addresses). One to two sets of recent teaching evaluations (uploaded as one "other" document). This position is eligible for the following benefits sick leave and retirement.

20163095F Job Description Instructors selected from this pool will teach fully online courses in the Applied Human Services program. Courses focus on foundational knowledge and skills relevant to careers in human services and community support roles. Minimum Qualifications A master's or doctoral degree in Counselor Education or a closely related field from an accredited institution (required at the time of appointment). Demonstrated experience in online instruction. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
