Job Description

Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding classroom setting and support the foundational years of learning as an Infant Montessori Teacher for children ages 0-3. In this contract role, you'll nurture development, independence, and a love for discovery in a collaborative environment dedicated to Montessori principles.
Key Qualifications:
MACTE-accredited Montessori Infant/Toddler Credential (AMS, AMI, or equivalent) Meets Illinois DCFS staff qualification requirements High school diploma or GED Understanding of human growth and development from birth through age three Familiarity with Montessori teaching methods and materials Experience with observation and assessment to identify and support developmental needs
Desired Experience and Skills:
Leading individualized learning in a Montessori classroom Utilizing observation to adapt teaching approaches to each child's pace and interests Fostering respectful, supportive, and culturally responsive relationships with children and families Managing classroom environments to promote safety, engagement, and autonomy
