Students are referred to the program from their home school, and are met with a caring and dedicated staff focused on meeting both their social-emotional and academic needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to articulate thoughts and instructions clearly to the students Team player willing to collaborate proactively and productively with colleagues Ability to provide clear, regular feedback to students, acting as an academic coach while supporting monitoring of progress Ability to manage a safe and consistent classroom environment in a proactive and relationship-based manner Able to accurately self-reflect and be open to using feedback to improve instructional practices.
Qualifications:
Hold or be eligible for an Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) or Substitute license equivalent MS/HS Endorsements (preferred) Salary/Benefits 180-day Full-Time Contract Regionally Competitive Salary 88% Individual Health Insurance Covered by Employer Employer Paid Professional Development and Training Opportunities.
