Yorkville Community School District 115 Yorkville High School is seeking a dynamic, student-centered, and collaborative educator to serve in a CaseManagement Specialist (LBS1) role for the 2026–2027 school year (3 positions available). This position is designed to provide dedicated casemanagement support for students receiving special education services while helping ensure high levels of academicgrowth, social-emotional support, and successful student transitions. BRIEF DESCRIPTION / POSITION SUMMARY
The Case Management Specialist will primarily focus on case management responsibilities, individualized studentsupport, IEP coordination, progress monitoring, and collaboration with educational teams to ensure students receiveappropriate services and interventions aligned to their individual needs. No assigned instructional teaching periods Primary focus dedicated to student case management, coordination of services, and responsive student supportthrough the Resource Room model Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary case manager for assigned students receiving special education services Coordinate and facilitate IEP development, implementation, annual reviews, and parent meetings Monitor student academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and transition progress Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, therapists, and paraprofessionals to support studentsuccess Support students through direct engagement during Advisory, ACCESS, and Resource Room supports Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements and timelines Assist in developing accommodations, modifications, behavioral supports, and intervention plans Conduct ongoing communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and supports Utilize assessment data and progress monitoring tools to guide instructional and support decisions Support students in developing self-advocacy, executive functioning, organizational, and transition skills Assist with crisis prevention, intervention, and de-escalation strategies as needed Maintain accurate documentation, records, and service logs Collaborate within Professional Learning Communities and the Educational Services Division to improvestudent outcomes Support inclusive educational practices and student access to the general education curriculum
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required Strong understanding of IEP development and special education compliance Experience supporting students with a wide range of learning, behavioral, emotional, and social needs Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Knowledge of assistive technology, accommodations, and differentiated supports Experience working within collaborative and inclusive educational environments preferred Commitment to creating a positive, supportive, and student-centered school culture Starting Salary $51,612 /BS+0, year 1 This position is part of the Yorkville CBA, linked below https://resources.finalsite.net/images/v1719490100/y115org/zj8dtrteasxz7ty5kyzd/Copyof2022-2026YEACBA1.pdf?
