Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Empower the next generation of technology innovators as a full-time 7th & 8th Grade Technology Teacher in a dynamic middle school setting near Zion, IL. This onsite position is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and make a meaningful impact throughout the entire school year, from August 17 to May 27, 2027.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related discipline Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement(s) Solid understanding of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom instruction Proven ability to foster a positive, engaging learning environment for adolescent learners Strong written and verbal communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver creative, standards-based technology lessons tailored to 7th and 8th grade students Utilize modern instructional strategies and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement Assess, track, and support individual student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed Collaborate with grade-level teachers and staff to support school-wide initiatives Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous learning Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents, guardians, and stakeholders With this contract position, you'll play a pivotal role in preparing students for the digital world, working onsite within a supportive and collaborative educational community.
