Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Classroom Teacher (Grades 3-5) Adair County Elementary School Adair County Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Classroom Teacher to join our tribe. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Position Overview:
The Classroom Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in foundational subject areas to students in grades 3-5. This role includes creating a structured, supportive classroom environment where all students can thrive and achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement engaging, standards-aligned instruction based on the Kentucky Academic Standards Develop and deliver effective lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of learners Manage classroom behavior and establish a positive, inclusive culture Analyze student data to inform instruction and develop targeted growth plans Monitor and assess student progress regularly Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide goals and initiatives Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and flexibility in meeting student needs
