Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication safety. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing medication inventory, and providing exceptional patient service within a fast-paced pharmacy setting. Your experience and knowledge help will support the delivery of high-quality, safe medication therapies to patients. Duties Prepare and dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision. Manage medication inventory, ensuring proper storage, stock levels, and expiration date monitoring. Assist with medication intake processes, verifying prescriptions and processing medication orders efficiently. Provide excellent patient service by answering medication-related questions and supporting patient care initiatives. Maintain precise documentation for medication administration, inventory logs, and compliance records in accordance with protocols. Qualifications Prior pharmacy technician experience is highly preferred. Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient service and support patient care initiatives effectively. Knowledge of pharmacy operations, workflows, and intake procedures is desirable. Certification as a pharmacy technician (e.g., CPhT) or equivalent is preferred.
