Andover, MA Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:00
PM Pay Rate:
$24.00 per hour
Position Type:
Contract (3-Month Assignment) Position Overview A well-established daycare and early childhood education center in Andover, MA is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Early Education Teacher to join their team on a 3-month contract basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting young learners, creating engaging classroom experiences, and fostering a safe, positive environment where children can learn and grow. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lessons. Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Maintain positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members. Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones. Ensure compliance with all EEC regulations, center policies, and safety procedures. Assist with classroom management, daily routines, and transitions. Promote positive behavior and model appropriate social skills. Qualifications Required Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification . Completion of Strong Start 2.0 Training . Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Knowledge of child development best practices and developmentally appropriate curriculum. Experience creating engaging classroom activities and lesson plans. Schedule & Compensation Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM $24.00 per hour 3-month contract assignment Why Join Us? Supportive and collaborative work environment.
