Adjunct instructors for in-person Culinary Arts classes (Fall 2026)
Bargaining Unit/Salary Range:
Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit. SUMMARY Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach the following on-ground courses: Introduction to
Culinary Arts:
8/31-10/22, Monday-Thursday 8:00am-12:00pm Introduction to
Culinary Arts:
9/28-10/22, Monday-Thursday 12:30-4:30pm
Techniques of Cooking:
10/26-12/17, Monday-Thursday 8:00am-12:00pm
Techniques of Cooking:
11/23-12/17, Monday-Thursday 12:00-4:30pm
Butchery:
8/31-9/24, Monday-Thursday 12:30-4:30pm
International Cuisine:
10/26-11/19 Monday-Thursday 12:30-4:30pm The instructor will deliver and use a learning management system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in related field Experience in the culinary industry Possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in related field
