We are looking for a natural leader and expert coach to step into the role of Lead Instructor . This pivotal position bridges the gap between administration and the gym floor, ensuring our daily operations run smoothly, our coaches excel, and our advanced athletes thrive. If you are a highly organized individual with a deep knowledge of gymnastics, a passion for mentoring others, and the drive to handle both floor leadership and behind-the-scenes administration, this is the perfect role for you! Quality Control & Mentorship:
Elevate our entire coaching team! You will mentor the coaching staff on proper spotting techniques, effective lesson plan execution, and sharp class management.
Advanced Instruction:
Lead by example on the floor by coaching our highest-level classes, ensuring technical excellence and the highest safety standards for advanced skills. What We Are Looking For (Requirements):
Experience:
Significant experience coaching advanced gymnastics skills, with a proven track record of safe, effective spotting techniques.
Leadership & Administration:
Prior experience in a supervisory or administrative role (e.g., managing schedules, customer service, or assistant directing) is highly preferred.
Problem-Solving Skills:
A calm, professional demeanor under pressure, with the ability to handle parent inquiries and on-the-spot gym logistics.
Communication:
Exceptional communication and organizational skills to effectively connect with parents, coaches, and management.
Certifications:
CPR/First Aid certification required (USAG safety certification highly preferred). Why Join Our Leadership Team?
Career Advancement:
Gain invaluable administrative and operational experience that paves the way for program management and director roles.
Impact:
Directly influence the quality of our coaching staff and the success of our highest-level athletes.
Competitive Compensation:
A rewarding hourly rate that reflects your dual responsibility as an elite instructor and supervisor.
Supportive Culture:
Work closely with a dedicated management team that values your input, leadership, and vision. Pay is $23 per hour. This is a part-time position. While it does not qualify for group health insurance, retirement contributions, or company-sponsored paid time off, the employee will accrue paid Minnesota Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
