Dunwoody College of Technology currently has the need for a full-time faculty in the Construction Management program. The opening is targeted at the level of Instructor, but experienced candidates with outstanding credentials may be considered for Senior Instructor or Associate Professor. Review of applications will begin immediately, and the position will remain open until filled. The Senior Instructor is responsible for excellence in teaching that contributes to the undergraduate educational mission of the College. Dunwoody encourages innovation in and diversity of teaching methods and multidisciplinary collaborations with academic departments and units across the College. Faculty utilize existing curriculum, develop their own courses and share their own industry experiences in the labs and classroom and must be able to deliver content to students effectively. The Construction Sciences and Building Technology department offers a wide range of programs at the certificate, associates, and +2 bachelor's degree level. This faculty position is responsible for initiating the teaching and learning process with a focus on continuous improvement in an environment in which students can accomplish the learning objectives of the course of instruction as well as working with department administration. The faculty member teaches and plans with innovation and uses a diversity of teaching methods and multidisciplinary collaborations with academic departments and units across the College. Results are students able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, ethics, and use of proper tools to meet industry and professional business standards.
