Job Description

Fairview School needs a 7-12 CTE - FACS Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking an innovative educator ready to design and deliver a dynamic curriculum that bridges classroom learning with real-world success, empowering students for both college and career readiness. We are looking for an engaging educator who excels in hands-on environments. In this role, you will inspire student growth through a progressive curriculum spanning culinary arts, financial literacy, child development, interior design, and FCCLA mentorship. Candidate must have or be able to obtain a valid MT Teaching Certification in Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS). This role includes serving as our FCCLA Advisor (compensated with an additional stipend) to support and sustain our thriving local chapter. Fairview students excel in this leadership program, proudly sending successful teams to the state FCCLA competition each year. Fairview is a northeastern Montana agricultural community located in the beautiful Yellowstone River valley along the North Dakota border near the Yellowstone and Missouri River Confluence.
Mission:
Fairview Schools will empower students to achieve their academic and personal goals by serving as facilitators and partners in learning. Fairview School runs on a modified 4-day school week . We utilize PowerSchool and are a 1:1 Chromebook / Google school with technology and resources available to integrate with your teaching. Small class sizes and opportunities for dual college credit through
Williston State College, Miles Community College, and Montana Tech:
Highlands further enhance the educational experience we provide for our students. Teaching salary depends on education level and/or verification of previous years of experience. Certified teachers receive a quarterly bonus based on the current oil revenues received. District housing within walking distance of the school is available at a reasonable cost, with access to a free on-campus community fitness room. Opportunities for extra-curricular positions may also be available.
