06/02/2026 Description The PT welding instructor performs duties related to delivering instruction, evaluation, and preparation of welders in a learning environment. Topics include, but are not limited to: SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, shop safety, equipment usage and set-up, fabrication, weld symbols, codes, standards, and testing. Serve as the primary instructor for welding courses. Provide in-person instruction as well as maintain accurate records of attendance, class completion, and evaluations. Coordinate regularly with the appropriate Coordinator or Director to evaluate and improve course quality.

  • 9:00 p.m.; Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 a.m.

Hourly Rate:
$30.00 per hour.
Starting Date:
July 6, 2026.
Closing Date:
Open until filled. Minimum Qualifications American Welding Society (AWS) welding certification or other current welder qualification issued by the American Welding Society (AWS), at least (3) three years of professional welding experience required. Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in welding or welding technology preferred. AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and/or Certified Welding Educator (CWE) preferred. Supplemental Information Official transcripts, including other documentation verifying all reported educational qualifications, are required. Unofficial transcripts will be accepted for application purposes. The successful candidate must provide official transcripts at his or her expense within thirty (30) days of being notified of selection.
