Classification Regular Minimum Pay $92,203.00 Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Diesel Technology department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Diesel Technology Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, a commitment to equity, inclusion, and the use of the classroom experience to enhance workplace understanding and performance. This announcement is active through 7/28/26 at 11:59pm and will no longer be listed as of 07/29/26. The Diesel Technology Instructor will teach a full range of diesel program coursework with excellence. The ideal candidate also participates collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, advisory council activities, projects, and other department or College activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
8 years of FT related occupational experience OR 4 years FT related occupational experience PLUS Associate's degree in discipline or related discipline OR 2 years FT related occupational experience PLUS Bachelor's degree in discipline or related discipline. ASE Master Certification required Higher Education / Community College teaching experience preferred.
Expected Start date:
Fall Quarter 232-day, 12-month contract

Applied Technology Center May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and may involve travel to other campuses. A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.
