Adjunct Instructor Higher Education Leadership Programs Job No:

Faculty The Department of Education Leadership, Management and Policy, within the College of Human Development, Culture and Media at Seton Hall University, invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach courses in higher education graduate programs. The Department seeks student-centered individuals who value excellence in teaching and commit to diversity, equity, inclusion, and collaboration. For an overview of higher education programs and courses, visit the Department website.Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach one to two courses per semester Teach in-person and hybrid modalities. Examples of class schedules include meetings once per week during weekdays, from 5:00 p.m.- 7:10 p.m. or 7:15 p.m.
- 9:25 p.m., or four meetings across two weekends, from 9:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.
Required Qualifications:
Expertise and ability to teach in areas related to higher education. Areas include, but are not limited to, law; finance; leadership; student affairs; intercollegiate athletics; organization and governance; history of higher education; and qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methodologies Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion Earned doctorate in higher education or related fieldDesired Qualifications:
Minimum of one year teaching at the college level Demonstrated record of teaching excellence Experience with learning management systems such asBlackboard and Canvas Salary Range:
Minimum pay is $1200 per credit for those without a terminal degree and $1300 per credit for those with a terminal degreeExempt/Nonexempt:
