• What does Driver Education Instructor Training consist of?
• You will be required to do observations in a classroom and behind the wheel setting with students taking driver education.

Observation hours consist of 24 classroom hours and 16 hours behind the wheel. In addition, you will need to complete the 1 day (8 hour) Basic Instructor Training Course in Columbus. Once observation hours and the BIC is complete, you will have a 2 hour classroom evaluation and a 2 hour behind the wheel observation, totaling the entire training to 52 hours. Ohio Driver Education Instructor Training is easily completed within a 6-8 week period!
