Para Teacher
Grade:
Hourly 4 | H-4 Highly Qualified by Test - ($11.8-$15.09) Hourly 6 | H-6 -- Highly Qualified by Education Tulsa Public Schools' existing salary schedules provide career increment adjustments based on education/experience and/or years of creditable service. Position Summary:
To assist certified teacher in educating children and provide instruction and assisting children in learning.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 48 hours of approved college credit, an associate degree from an accredited school or successful completion of a district approved highly qualified test
Experience:
  • Previous work experience in early childhood and/or elementary school preferred Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
  • Possess or ability to obtain a Tier I certification though Oklahoma Department of Education o One-time payment of $12 to be to the state paid by candidate / employee
  • Proficient or willing to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
