Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Woodland Charter School is a public Waldorf charter school located in the beautiful Siskiyou Mountains in Murphy, Oregon. We are currently seeking a skilled teacher to join our dynamic faculty for the 2026/27 school year. We offer a competitive public school teacher salary with annual step increases and a benefits package that includes: paid sick leave; individual medical, dental and vision coverage; the Oregon PERS pension plan; and paid professional development. Our school, which opened in October 2012 with 60 students, expects an enrollment of around 210 students in September 2026 serving grades K- 8, with a class size limit of 25. Class teachers at Woodland Charter School are part of a lower loop (1st-4th) or upper loop (5th-8th). Teacher qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably with an education-related major Waldorf teaching certification or commitment to enroll in an approved training program Oregon teaching license Enthusiastic, creative, and loving with students Ability to work well with colleagues, administration, and parents Strong communication skills
