School of Education The Citadel's Zucker Family School of Education (ZFSOE) is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time temporary teaching positions in the Division of Counselor Education.
Job Responsibilities:
The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is currently accepting applications for The Citadel's Zucker Family School of Education (ZFSOE), Division of Counselor Education to establish a pool for adjunct faculty assignments. Adjunct assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed. This job posting is not for a specific assignment or for a full-time faculty position, but rather for a pool of candidates who may be considered for part-time teaching or allied faculty assignments. Courses are offered during evening in face-to-face, online, or hybrid formats and throughout the academic year (fall, spring, and summer). All adjunct positions are per session appointments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Abiding by and upholding the Citadel's mission, policies, and core values. Utilizing effective teaching and learning practices such as presentations, demonstrations, class discussion, and other appropriate modes of instructional delivery; preparing course outlines and syllabi in accordance with program standards and in collaboration with the program coordinator. Completing student assessments required for program completion, and meeting all scheduled class periods. Being available to students for individual consultation and submitting final grades by the specified due date.
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree is required to teach graduate courses. Three years of professional counseling experience at the elementary, middle grades, secondary, and/or college level. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills. Experience in designing courses and materials.
