$25.00 per hour Open Date 11/12/2025 Close Date Open Until Filled No Position Summary Information Job Description Summary The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need. The AutoCAD instructor demonstrates skill, knowledge, and abilities in the discipline of AutoCAD. The instructor maintains appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. The AutoCAD instructor is responsible for making continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction; developing and using a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Minimum five (5) years related work experience. Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Basic computer skills to communicate via email, input final student grades into WebDMC, input hours worked and conduct presentations as needed. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years teaching or training experience. Experience developing lesson plans and curriculum. Job Duties Job Duty Provide Classroom Instruction Make continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction. Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes. Job Duty Develop curriculum and instructor resources. Provide students with a written and accessible course syllabus that follows the Course Syllabus Guidelines and facilitates a clear understanding between student and instructor of the content, goals, requirements, expectations, evaluation methods and schedule of work. Job Duty Prepare course materials, including but not limited to: grade sheets, attendance rosters, evaluations and entering hours worked. Maintain daily attendance rosters. Submit final hard copies of daily attendance rosters and grade sheets to the Continuing Education Department. Job Duty Evaluate students to measure their progress toward achievement of stated course outcomes within college policy and procedures. Review, evaluate, recommend, and effectively use student learning materials.
