Responsibilities:
Instruct children ages 5-12 in an engaging culinary arts class on Wednesdays 3:45•4:45 PM in Fort Worth, Texas from 9/9•11/18 Ability to communicate with a diverse group of teachers and students. Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals. Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement. Provide a fun and creative environment.
Requirements:
Must be able to commit to a weekly class from September•December & beyond. Must be comfortable instructing children in learning a simple recipe. While curriculum planning is not necessary, we require that the lead instructor purchase the ingredients for the recipe before class and bring them to class. Expense reimbursement will be provided for the ingredients.
Qualifications:
Previous teaching experience required. Interest / experience in culinary arts or passion for cooking & baking. Excellent communication skills. Energetic, driven, creative, and dependable. Demonstrate patience and leadership skills.
