A Vocational Education Instructor teaches technical or job related skills to students, and uses work-based experience to help students learn about and prepare for jobs in a particular occupation. Provides training for jobs in business, health care, auto repair, information technology, culinary arts, or other areas. Teaches in a public high school, a regional or college program, or at a private training program.

This position combines classroom instruction, center operations, parent communication, student scheduling, and enrollment support. Help coordinate both in-person and online classes. Teach English and Math to students in grades K-8 using provided curriculum and instructional materials. Grade homework assignments, classwork, and tests using established guidelines. Create and maintain accurate student and class schedules. Communicate professionally and proactively with students and parents. Monitor the student and parent experience and help maintain a high standard of service. Build positive relationships with families to support student retention and enroll new students. Participate actively in marketing, community outreach, and student recruitment activities. Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and student-focused learning environment. Serve as a strong brand ambassador by consistently demonstrating the company's PEACE core values. Qualifications Associate degree or expected completion of an associate degree within one year of the hire date. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Strong foundational knowledge of elementary and middle-school English and Math. Prior teaching, tutoring, mentoring, childcare, customer service, or leadership experience is preferred. Ability to teach and communicate effectively with students in grades K-8. Ability to use technology to support online classes, scheduling, and center operations. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be available to work a consistent schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Must successfully complete the center's training and evaluation process. Compensation and Schedule Part-time, W-2 position.
Starting pay:
$18 per hour during the training period . Compensation will be reviewed upon successful completion of training. A minimum of 15 paid work hours per week with a consistent schedule.
Regular workdays:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday . Well suited for candidates currently completing a bachelor's or master's degree.
