Courses May Include:
Teachers of Tomorrow Applicants must hold (or be eligible to obtain) a CTE teaching certificate with the appropriate 3 years full-time occupational experience-based endorsements:

Family and Consumer Science Education Degree College program and BA Degree plus 2000 Occupational Experience other than teaching. Must also apply for the Residency Teacher certificate OR apply to add the endorsement to your teacher certificate AND take and pass the basic skills test AND the content knowledge test

Must complete an approved CTE Plan 2 Business & Industry Route Teacher preparation program Must submit a Bachelor's degree or higher conferral Verification of 6,000 hours of occupational experience as a teacher at the elementary, middle school, or secondary level Additional Requirements Must hold or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED and OSHA Trainer Certifications Pass Criminal Background Fingerprinting with WSP and FBI Successfully complete OSPI required training Must be willing to be a CTSO advisor as part of the position. Proof of Qualification Candidates must hold or be able to obtain a teaching certificate with OSPI, including the appropriate endorsement.
