A part-time Sign Language Interpreter opportunity is available in Burlington, IL, supporting a high school setting with direct one-on-one interpretation from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This contract position runs through the end of the current school year, concluding May 29, 2026, with an immediate start in January.

Key Qualifications:

Valid PEL certification or EIPA score of at least 3.0 required Prior experience interpreting one-on-one or in school environments preferred Strong communication skills and professionalism in educational settings

Location:

Burlington, Illinois On-site work at one high school

Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation for a student in a one-on-one educational context Collaborate with educators and support staff to facilitate clear communication Maintain confidentiality and professionalism according to school and agency standards
