  • Full-time Annapolis Area Christian School is an independent, nondenominational Christian school serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
AACS is searching for an Educational Support (special education) paraprofessional to work with students at the Upper School Campus (9th-12th). This hourly school year assignment is a 35-40 hour-a-week position, beginning in August 2026 for the rest of the 2026-2027 school year. Under the direction of an Educational Support Specialist, the Educational Support paraprofessional: Provides some direct instruction for students who have identified learning needs Assists in peer teaching/coaching Assists students with Educational Service Plans (ESP) in the general education classroom Assists with providing accommodations in classroom assignments and curriculum for students with ESPs Collaborates with general education teachers concerning students with ESPs and other student(s) Works with individual students based on learning needs identified by the Educational Support team Attends planning/progress monitoring meetings The Educational Support Program at AACS is designed to support students with learning differences. Candidates should profess faith in Jesus Christ and be actively involved in a local church. Candidates should have a minimum of a high school diploma. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, a heart for serving students, and a minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with learning differences.
