Onsite Position Overview System One is working with a client seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Analyst to support and enhance safety initiatives within the company's manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance, driving a strong safety culture, and partnering with operations to identify and mitigate risk. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and passionate about creating a safe and compliant work environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections, audits, and monitoring of equipment, work areas, and processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive and corrective actions Lead new hire safety training and ongoing employee safety education (including SafeStart) Perform compliance audits and maintain safety work order tracking Investigate near-miss incidents and support corrective action implementation Conduct annual fall protection inspections Maintain a visible and active presence on the plant floor Serve as an active member of the Plant Safety Committee Update and manage site safety signage Prepare and maintain monthly safety reports and key performance metrics Analyze safety trends and present actionable insights to plant leadership Assist in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of safety procedures Input and manage safety data within Benchmark/Gensuite systems Support contractor safety programs and compliance efforts Collaborate with engineering and operations on new or modified processes to ensure safety considerations are integrated throughout design and implementation Promote and drive a culture of EHS excellence and continuous improvement Qualifications Associate degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in a heavy manufacturing or construction environment Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and applicable industry standards Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to deliver training and influence safe work practices Ability to motivate teams and gain buy-in for safety initiatives Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in computer systems including databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools High attention to detail with the ability to understand broader operational impacts Experience working with regulatory agencies, contractors, and external partners System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
