Electrical Apprentice

Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians in installing electrical systems across various construction sites. Support the setup and use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters to ensure proper wiring and circuit functionality. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Help with the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Ensure all work adheres to safety guidelines, including proper handling of electrical components and use of personal protective equipment. Contribute to site cleanup, organization of tools, and maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in electrical technology is a plus. Some experience with industrial or commercial electrical work is preferred but not required—training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading is highly desirable. Basic understanding of low voltage systems; knowledge of NEC standards is advantageous. Ability to work safely on construction sites, often at heights or in confined spaces. Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
