147948Job Description:
The Electrical Engineer defines, designs, analyzes, tests, integrates, certifies, and delivers custom automated test equipment used to support re-entry vehicle systems critical to national defense. Responsibilities include electronics design, analysis, troubleshooting, and system integration across analog, digital, RF, and power domains, ensuring compliance with performance, cost, and schedule requirements. The Electrical Engineer supports full lifecycle development from requirements through verification and validation in a highly regulated environment.Job Requirements:

- Ability to obtain a Clearance Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 6 years of experience OR Master's degree with 4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in electronics design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting across analog, digital, RF, or power systems
- Experience with schematic capture and simulation tools, including PSPICE, Zuken, LTSPICE, Hyperlynx, and ADS Preferred Skills
- Electrical worst-case and parts stress analysis
- Hands-on electronic hardware testing, troubleshooting, and integration
- Custom test equipment and test rack development
- Interface and interconnect diagram development
- Communication protocols including SPI, I2C, CAN, LVDS, SpaceWire
- Experience with major design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, QR)
- Missile, satellite, or high-reliability defense/medical hardware experience
- Failure investigation and root cause analysis
- System architecture definition and functional allocation
- Hardware and software system integration
- Technical team leadership experience
- PWB layout, stack-up, and routing familiarity
- Cable and harness design experience
- Microcontroller circuit design, including external clocking sources
- Embedded software development for microcontrollers
- S-Parameter measurement methodologies
- FPGA design experience Job Duties & Functions
- Defines electrical system architecture from requirements through implementation
- Designs and develops custom automated test equipment for space systems applications
- Performs electronic hardware design, analysis, and troubleshooting activities
- Integrates hardware and software systems for test and validation environments
- Develops interface control documents and interconnect diagrams
- Executes system-level verification, validation, and qualification testing
- Conducts failure analysis and identifies corrective actions for system deficiencies
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary engineering teams on system design and integration
- Supports technical design reviews and program milestone deliverables
- Ensures compliance with aerospace and defense engineering standards Physical Requirements & Environment
- On-site work environment within an aerospace and defense engineering facility
- Occasional travel may be required in support of testing or program activities
