Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer designs and develops board-level analog and digital power electronics for product development and manufacturing applications, including thermal management and high-voltage circuit design. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 8+ years of experience in a product development and manufacturing environment Experience designing and developing heat management solutions for circuit designs Hands-on experience designing board-level analog and digital circuits Hands-on experience using Altium for circuit design Preferred Skills Experience with lamp ballast design, development, and troubleshooting Experience with UV fluorescent and xenon arc lamps Experience designing power devices and controllers Experience designing high-voltage switch mode power supplies Experience designing electronics with high-voltage MOSFETs and IGBTs Expertise specifying and designing custom inductors and transformers Experience troubleshooting voltage transient, EMI, and susceptibility issues Experience working with 3-phase equipment up to 400V Experience designing circuit boards including schematics, bills of material, and printed circuit boards Job Responsibilities Design and develop board-level analog and digital circuits Develop heat management solutions for circuit designs Design power devices, controllers, and high-voltage switch mode power supplies Design electronics using high-voltage MOSFETs and IGBTs Specify and design custom inductors and transformers Troubleshoot voltage transient, EMI, and susceptibility issues Support design and development work involving 3-phase equipment up to 400V Create circuit board schematics, bills of material, and PCB designs in Altium Support product development and manufacturing engineering activities

Pay:
