Job Description

Target salary range:

Electrical Engineer Position Overview The Electrical Engineer designs, develops, integrates, and tests complex electrical and electronic systems in support of Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This role applies advanced engineering principles to systems such as radar, signal processing, electronic warfare, antenna systems, and electromagnetic analysis. The position is structured across multiple levels based on experience, education, and technical responsibility. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and integrate electrical and electronic systems and components Support engineering efforts involving radar systems, signal processing, electronic warfare systems, antenna design, and electromagnetic analysis Conduct system testing, evaluation, and performance verification Develop engineering documentation, technical drawings, and design specifications Support hardware design and system integration activities Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and DoD stakeholders Ensure compliance with technical requirements, standards, and program objectives Perform complex engineering design and analysis with limited supervision Lead or support system-level integration and testing efforts Review and validate engineering designs and technical documentation Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams Support resolution of complex engineering challenges across programs Lead major engineering design and integration efforts for complex systems Provide subject matter expertise in electrical/electronic system architecture and design Oversee engineering teams and ensure technical quality and performance standards Advise program leadership on technical risks, tradeoffs, and solutions Drive innovation and advanced solutions for mission-critical systems Minimum Qualifications Education Master's degree (MA/MS) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field Substitutions 3 additional years of experience plus a bachelor's degree, OR 6 additional years of experience without a bachelor's degree Experience 12+ years of experience in design, development, and integration of electrical/electronic systems Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering principles Experience with radar, RF systems, signal processing, and electromagnetic systems Proficiency in system design, modeling, and hardware development Ability to develop engineering drawings, documentation, and technical reports Experience with system integration, testing, and validation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in DoD or defense-related engineering environments Effective collaboration and technical communication skills Ability to lead or support engineering teams depending on levelBenefits:
