Job Description
Entry-level electrical engineering role focused on vehicle electrical and electronic system design, prototype integration, diagnostics, and product support. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Automotive Engineering At least 1 year of experience, or equivalent internship, co-op, or academic project exposure, in electrical system design or embedded systems Experience with design automation, CAD, Creo, CATIA, and software development tools Experience designing electrical or embedded systems Experience building and integrating prototype electrical systems Experience performing diagnostics, software bring-up, and troubleshooting Preferred Skills Exposure to vehicle electrical systems including diesel engines, hydraulics, x-by-wire systems, and in-vehicle communication Proficiency with electronic development and diagnostic tools including schematic capture, 3D CAD, and debugging tools Knowledge of EMC design and application guidelines for vehicle electrical system compliance Experience with 60V vehicle architectures Experience with electrification components Experience supporting new product development, sustaining engineering, production support, or field support activities Job Responsibilities Design and develop vehicle electrical and electronic systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, hardware, software, manufacturing, quality, customer support, and suppliers Build and integrate prototype vehicle electrical systems Perform diagnostics, software bring-up, and troubleshooting Contribute to new product development activities Support sustaining engineering efforts Provide production support for vehicle electrical systems Support field issues related to electrical and electronic system performance
