Electrical Foreman

The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete the project on time while maintaining a high-level of quality, safety and customer loyalty while aligning with our Company goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage large to medium size projects
• Manage project, train, and evaluate project team members
• Schedule the project workflow, determine labor requirements to meet deadlines
• Ensure quality and code compliance
• Conferring with senior management, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss project goals and problem solve
• Ability to interpret construction documents to include drawings, schematics, specifications, and submittals
• Implement cost saving measures and process improvements to align with Company goals and objectives
• Plan material and equipment needs to ensure on-time delivery in concert with project schedule
• Plan and maintain manpower forecasts for the project
• Track work to ensure completion is with project schedule and budget requirements
• Maintain detailed project daily records
• Provide Project Manger with project status and schedule updates as needed
• Perform additional duties as directed by Corporate Officers.

REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10 + years minimum experience in a fast-paced electrical construction
• 5 + years as a Project Foreman managing large projects
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional long days, nights and or weekends
• Thorough knowledge of electrical equipment and construction materials.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office Products
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
• Self-motivated, proactive and an effective te
• am player
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Active Construction Site - sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.

Work is conducted in various environments relative to project stage
