Position Summary:

The Level 3 Industrial Electrician is a senior-level role responsible for advanced troubleshooting, system improvements, and leading electrical work within the machine shop. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting overall production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues on manual machines and facility equipment Lead troubleshooting efforts for recurring or critical equipment failures Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems, wiring, and control panels Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs and VFDs Lead machine installations, retrofits, and major repairs Identify root causes of failures and implement long-term corrective solutions Mentor and support Level 2 electricians and maintenance staff Work cross-functionally with production and quality teams to improve processes Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, upgrades, and system changes

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical training preferred 5-8+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience Strong knowledge of 3-phase systems (120V-480V) Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams Hands-on experience with PLC programming/troubleshooting and VFDs Proven ability to lead complex troubleshooting and projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Industrial machine shop environment (noise, dust, moving machinery) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, and work in confined spaces Overtime and flexible hours may be required, including early start times

Pay:
