Electrical Project Manager

Full-Time | On-Site | Newburgh, NY Overview Perreca Electric Co., Inc. is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to prepare estimates, support preconstruction activities, and manage electrical construction projects from award through final close-out for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and mission-critical projects throughout the Hudson Valley. As part of our continued growth and long-term investment in our operations, we are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to continue developing their career within an established electrical contractor while gaining exposure to larger and more technically demanding projects. Responsibilities Prepare budgets and estimates for new opportunities Perform takeoffs, scope reviews, and value engineering Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Prepare bid submissions and preconstruction deliverables Participate in design coordination with clients, engineers, and design teams Manage electrical construction projects from estimate through close-out Transition projects from estimating into full project management upon award Coordinate with General Contractors, clients, engineers, vendors, and field supervision Prepare project schedules, manpower planning, procurement, and logistics Manage submittals, RFIs, ASIs, change directives, and project documentation Support field supervision to maintain productivity, quality, and safety Champion Perreca's safety culture on every project Conduct project meetings and maintain project documentation Build and maintain project budgets and cost tracking Prepare billing, invoicing, and project financial reporting Handle punch lists, as-builts, O&M manuals, and project close-out documentation Qualifications 3+ years of Electrical Construction Project Management experience Experience with commercial and/or industrial electrical construction projects valued at $1M+ Experience preparing electrical budgets and estimates Experience managing Electrical Union Labor and Field Manpower Strong ability to read electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Experience working for an electrical contractor preferred Technical Requirements Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and Project) Working knowledge of AutoCAD Experience with project coordination software such as Navisworks and Bluebeam Proficiency in ConEst or similar estimating software Why Work for Perreca Serving the Hudson Valley since 1949 Long-standing client relationships and repeat business Hands-on leadership team High-profile work including data centers, industrial facilities, semiconductor, healthcare, and commercial construction Professional, team-focused culture built on quality, safety, and accountability 401(k) and profit sharing Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Additional Requirements Ability to report to Perreca's main office in Newburgh, NY and travel to project sites throughout the Hudson Valley as required
