Here's what it takes to make yours count. 5+ years of experience building or maintaining heavy equipment Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills Experience with diesel engines, propulsion systems, or pneumatics preferred Manufacturing or rail industry experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments Willingness to travel based on project needs Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and test electrical and pneumatic systems Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics Install electrical components, wiring, harnesses, and cabling Cut, crimp, terminate, and route wiring through conduit systems Operate electrical testing and diagnostic equipment Disassemble and reassemble locomotive parts and assemblies Clean, sandblast, paint, and refurbish components Drill, tap, and complete mechanical assembly tasks Follow FRA safety procedures and company standards Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals More Than Just a Paycheck.
