Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical experience, including familiarity with low and high voltage systems, schematics, blueprint reading, and adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC). Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation. Test electrical systems using devices such as ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality and safety. Work on construction sites performing installation tasks during new builds or renovations while adhering to project timelines. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct routine inspections of existing electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards. Follow all safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage systems to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist in schematic interpretation and troubleshooting of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation. Skills Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards for safe electrical installations. Proficiency with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with low voltage and high voltage wiring techniques. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation environments. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, power drills, and frame carpentry tools effectively. Experience working on construction sites involving renovation projects or new builds. Strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Handyman skills that support minor repairs or adjustments on-site. Knowledge of Ohmmeters for testing electrical continuity and resistance measurements. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
