Journeyman Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated electrician to join our team in Hingham, MA. This role involves working with a locally owned and operated electrical contractor, providing high-quality service to light commercial customers on the South Shore. Responsibilities Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose issues efficiently. Install wiring, panels, outlets, lighting, fixtures, and related equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications. Maintain a clean and safe workspace; follow all safety protocols. Communicate professionally with customers and represent the brand effectively. Assist in planning job materials and coordinating daily tasks. Work independently or alongside other team members depending on the project. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and construction. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. 2+ years of commercial electrical experience. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, basements, and other physical environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Abington, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
